History

 Established by President Paul Germain, opening for business January 1, 1981. Started as an exclusive Yamaha dealership until BMW motorcycles were added in May of 1988. Ducati motorcycles were also added in 1995.

 Over the 20 year period, Wildwood has been awarded many accolades including top western Canadian snowmobile sales in 1987, Polaris master service award in 1991, BMW top sales achiever in 1993 and 1994 and the only Manitoba dealer ever to be awarded the prestigious MDT award of excellence for western Canada.

 Yamaha has also recognized Wildwood with silver achievement awards for 1999 and 2000.

 Over the years, Wildwood Sports has prided itself with the most sophisticated business systems and shop equipment in order to better service its customers.

 The involvement of its staff in all facets of the sport and products we sell contributes to our knowledge of what we sell.

 Wildwood Sports has actively partaken in many forms of competition and supported local individuals as well as fielded teams in motocross, motorcycle drag racing, oval dirt track, road racing as well as snowmobile ice oval and drag racing.

 No other dealership has won or placed in more local or international events than Wildwood Sports.

 Such noteworthy names as Al Dyck (1986 national MX champion), Barry Lavallee (2nd place Eagle River world championship), Myron Groening (2000 MRA road race champion) and Keith Wojciechowski (1998 Eagle River world championship finalist in Champ 440 & Mod II) have all been on the Wildwood team.  

 Paul Germain continues to compete in AHRMA vintage dirt track and road racing, having won national championships in 250GP in 2004 and again in 2008.

 Wildwood Sports is now celebrating its 29th anniversary and continues its enthusiasm and dedication to excellence in customer service.
